The Super Yacht Platinum is one of the world's newest 'expedition style' luxury yachts. Built in Tasmania Australia and launched in 2008, Platinum is luxuriously appointed over 4 levels and combines the latest in technology with space and comfort. Custom built, Platinum has been designed specifically for luxury charter and cruising throughout Australia and the South Pacific. Platinum provides a unique and luxurious venue for getaways, celebrations and corporate events. At over 120 foot (35m) Platinum is comfortable entertaining up to 100 guests and overnight luxury cruising for up to 10. Boasting 3 spacious decks with indoor and outdoor areas, Platinum has plenty of space for entertaining and soaking up the stunning scenery of the Australian coast and the South Pacific. Stunning internal features include the use of natural timbers such as European Beech, Tasmanian Myrtle and Oak. Throughout the vessel, Australian fine leather has been selected to enhance the timbers used in the furniture and interior trimmings. The main dining table is solid Huon pine with stunning Myrtle edging. The internal spiraling staircase has an eye-catching design of alternate metallic leather panels interspersed with polished stainless steel. Platinum is equipped with the latest in vessel technology; from her super efficient main engines to the latest in electronics, video surveillance and touch screen monitoring systems in the bridge. |
